Weavercat is a 22 yr-old female thing who doesn't know what she wants to do in life. A current art-student who has rediscovered her love of prehistoric critters. I'd like to be a scientific/medical illustrator someday.

It’s Christmas NOW, dammit.  These are gifts for two lovely, long-time friends of mine, and an attempt to not be so scared of digital painting.  Getting sloppier with the process has made it feel a thousand times more natural.  :]

Cupcakes and BirdFolk! Well, dang it. I need cupcakes now. XD I love the new digital process too. ;)

I created this special sticker design 2 years ago to help the displaced families (animal and human alike) who were victims of the Fourmile Canyon Fire. Because of the sale of those stickers, I was able to donate three times the amount of money I alone could have donated to Red Cross and to the Boulder Humane society. This year, our beautiful state has been hit by many more wildfires and I wanted to help again. This fire season has been particularly destructive with the High Park and Waldo Canyon fires, and many more raging across the state.
You will receive this unique, vibrant and durable sticker in the mail for your five dollar donation. 100% of the proceeds will be donated the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Foundation to help them fight against the flames.

I experienced the effects of the Hayman fire back in 02’, while I no longer live in Colorado, this hits close to home for me. Just ordered one of my own to help out. Grab an awesome design and help offset the effects of serious fire damage.

As I currently live just south of Pueblo which is south of Colorado Springs, I urge you to buy a sticker and or donate to the charity. This fire and many more are causing major damage. The land up there will never be the same (in our lifetimes). Fires are scary. I can see the haze of smoke from on top of our mountain. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
The Garden of the Gods area and the Air Force Academy areas are currently being evacuated. The Flying W Ranch (a local dude-ranch that has been around for over 60 years) went up in flames today. This fire is raging on at a rate that seems impossible. It’s eating up all the beetle-killed pines and our recent lack of rainfall is not helping.
Please help if you can.
